Net-Zero Targets & Reducing Global Warming. 

It is essential that Net-Zero targets are achieved but focusing on just CO2 emissions is extremely misleading because it ignores global warming potential (GWP) altogether. According to NASA’s Goddard Institute for Space Studies any methane molecule released today is 100 times more heat-trapping than a molecule of carbon dioxide, or potentially even higher. Methane is a relatively short-lived, but intense climate-changer. With the UN establishing various tipping points for irreversible climate change damage on the horizon, it’s time that methane enters mainstream consideration.

With our focus on MSW diversion/conversion and agricultural wastes conversion to green, renewable forms of energy we simultaneously contribute to Net-Zero targets and the reduction of global warming. Plus, our plans to utilize the beneficial processing byproducts to efficiently and cost effectively grow vegetables, herbs, fish and shrimp in environmentally enclosed growing systems will further achieve the twin goals of Net-Zero emissions and the reduction in global warming.

We totally support solar PV, wind energy, tree planting, forest preservation, nuclear, hydro and carbon dioxide removal (CDR) technologies. But it is improbable that we can achieve Net-Zero Carbon with just these actions - why? Energy demand is too great.
